This presentation will introduce the concept of Critical Digital Humanities as an orientation to both analyzing and building digital infrastructures through humanities-driven methods and methodologies. The presenters will argue that when developing tools and technologies, it’s important to do so while account issues of usability and accessibility. Presenters will introduce a project intended to (re)build digital representations of South Asia through participatory design, asking participants for input, ideas, and engagement in the development of this program. No prior experience with technology or Digital Humanities is necessary to attend the presentation and engage with content.
